Winter time and Snow

I had forgotten how deep snow can get. Here I am in Jackson Hole looking over the whiteness of the land. Wow! Twelve inches in one day! I haven't seen that much snow in ages. When I was a little girl, I loved to go out and play in it. We would build snowmen (of course), snow houses (like igloos) and pelt you with snow balls or cram it down your neck. Those days are gone. Now I am content to marvel at it from inside the house. LOL! I can honestly say that it is not my favorite season. What's yours?

I am glad to see you back; I'd been wondering where you were. I am headed down to sunny and warm (80s) Belize this Friday for a couple of weeks. I keep telling Rando it is for work, but somehow he doesn't believe me. Or is that he doesn't Belize me? :) Safe travels home.

PS: I remember Mom making snow ice cream on the rare occasions it snowed down south.

12 inches- wow-that is a lot of snow! I loved it when I was a kid- we used to make snow forts in Germany, but you can have it now. I love the Texas fall- which is just a continuation of Texas summer! Ha. The days do get a little breezier, and it goes down to the high 70's which is just about perfect for me. When do you get home, Mom?

I belize you, Suzassippi! Wish I could join you instead of going back to work!

I am home now. Guess I was thinking how it was so mis-leading to you. I got home on Saturday evening late and of course, my luggage didn't come until the next day. Susan, we used to make snow cones too! Yeah, I think Randy has the right idea - I think you're headed for the sunshine too.

Oh, how do you like my picture? Bill and fam came by on Sunday and we looked for a pic but they're all awful so he suggested a hobby!

Great picture, Mom, but I'm sure there are beautiful pictures of you around there somewhere- how could there not be?

We are glad to escape from the snow for a little while. I am a hot weather gal, definitely like the summer and don't really even mind 100 degree temps. Makes you wonder why I moved to Alaska, huh?! Unalaska in the summer is just beautiful, probably my favorite season now, though we are lucky to hit 60 degrees.
